Reliance Jio discontinues these two prepaid plans
Days after Reliance Jio introduced new IUC plans, the telecom operator has discontinued two prepaid recharge plans. These include Rs 19 and Rs 52 tariff plans that came with validity of one day and 7 days, respectively. The plans have already been removed from Jio.com and My Jio app.
Both these sachet plans were aimed to meet the short term requirement of Jio customers. Reliance Jio Rs 19 tariff plan came with 20 SMS and 150MB of data. The plan provided free calling, both local and STD. It had a validity of one day. The Rs 52 prepaid plan, on the other hand gave 1.05GB and 70 SMS for 9 days. The plan offered unlimited calling as well.
Both Rs 19 and Rs 52 prepaid plans came with free complimentary subscription to Jio apps. After the withdrawal, tariff plans offered by Reliance Jio will start at Rs 98 that offers 2GB mobile data and has a validity of 28 days.
