Reliance Jio deploys another 15 MHz spectrum across Karnataka

Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has strengthened its spectrum deployment in Karnataka, in a bid to boost subscriber market share in the state, expand its 4G customer base and ward off competition from Bharti Airtel NSE 1.98 %.

The largest telco on Friday said that after it had acquired spectrum in 850MHZ, 1800MHZ and 2300MHZ bands in the recently held auctions, it has upped its spectrum capacity in Karnataka.
