RedmiBook 14’s Core i3 variant launched at ₹32,000

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched a new variant of its recently unveiled RedmiBook 14 series in China. The new variant is powered by an Intel Core i3 processor and is priced at 3,199 Yuan (about ₹32,000)—almost ₹8,000 cheaper than the i5 variant of the RedmiBook 14. Redmi is selling the new variant with an introductory discounted price of 2999 yuan (about ₹30,000) on JD.com for those pre-ordering the notebook.

The variant is powered by the eighth-generation Core i3-8145U, paired with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. The variant retains the rest of design and hardware configuration from the rest of the variants.

It is lit by a 14-inch “ultra-narrow” HD display. It has a standard, full-size keyboard with a travel distance of 1.3mm and 19mm wide keys. Its touchpad supports multi-touch gestures.
