Redmi, Samsung lead in overall product quality in Rs 7,000-Rs 20,000 segment: CMR Study
NEW DELHI: In the hypercompetitive value-for-money (VFM) segment (Rs 7,000-Rs 20,000) consumers seek to be seen with the latest smartphones and Redmi leads over rivals in terms of product quality, followed by Samsung, according to a study by CyberMedia Research (CMR).
As per the findings, factors such as sleek and stylish smartphone design (48%), extended warranty (46%), attractive discounts from the current brand (42%) drive sustained smartphone brand loyalty.
Redmi scores 91 out of 100 while Samsung scores 89 out of 100, in terms of overall product quality, the findings showed.
