Redmi Note 9S with 5020mAh battery launched

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi added another smartphone to its Redmi Note 9 series with the launch of Redmi Note 9S. The smartphone comes in three colour options — Interstellar Grey, Aurora Blue, and Glacier White. The smartphone will go on sale in China on April 7 and will also be sold in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.

The Redmi Note 9S comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display with protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU.
The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 11. The device comes with a triple card slot, this means that users can use two SIM cards and one microSD card at the same time. The device packs 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
