Redmi Note 13 series is “HyperOS-ready”, Xiaomi confirms

The freshly minted Redmi Note 13 series is HyperOS ready, Xiaomi has confirmed. The announcement was made during the launch event of the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, in India. Though, there is no word on when exactly the new update is coming to these devices. Xiaomi simply said it’s “coming soon”.

The Note 13 series is shipping with the older Android 13 based MIUI 14 which is a bit disappointing since the line-up was originally launched in September last year kicking off with Xiaomi’s home market. The Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro Plus are launching in more markets globally on January 15.
