Redmi 9 Prime with Helio G80 chipset launched at a starting price of Rs 9,999

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Tuesday expanded its Redmi series of smartphones with the launch of Redmi 9 Prime which carries a starting price of Rs 9,999.

The Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display and is claimed to be TUV Rhineland Low Blue Light certified and offers enhanced readability under Read Mode 2.0. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glas 3 and the smartphone is P2i water resistant certified.
