Redmi 8A Dual starts receiving Android 10 update in India

NEW DELHI: Xaiomi’s Redmi brand has started rolling out an Android 10 update for its Redmi 8A Dual smartphone in India. The Redmi 8A Dual was launched with Android 9.0 Pie operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 11. The smartphone maker has now started rolling out an Android 10 update based on MIUI 12 for the Redmi 8A Dual.

The update comes with the build number MIUI V11.0.1.0.QCQINXM and it is rolling out in a phased manner. After this update, the smartphone will get both Android 10 and MIUI 12 features. Before installing the update users must make sure that their device is 80% charged.
