Realme X50 Pro first to get ISRO’s NaVIC technology, not Redmi: Realme CEO
NEW DELHI : Xiaomi and Realme have often found each other in their crosshairs. Since the launch of Realme, both brands have been in a neck and neck competition in the budget and mid-range smartphone segment. The latest in the line of feuds is over the claim as to which brand is the first to feature ISRO’s NaVIC navigation system.
Xiaomi India’s Manu Kumar Jain tweeted on Tuesday saying he had a great meeting with Dr K Sivan, ISRO’s Chairman. He also declared that both the organisations are working together to provide ISRO’s own navigation system NaVIC in the upcoming Redmi phone. Additionally, he said that the next Redmi phone will be the first in the world to support the technology.
In response to a tweet today, Realme CEO, Madhav Seth claimed that the Realme X50 Pro is the first phone to come with NaVIC and even claimed that the second phone will be from Realme.
