Realme, Oppo to gain from Huawei’s exit from India smartphone market?

NEW DELHI: Huawei’s expected troubles due to US sanctions could open a window of opportunity for rivals debutants Realme and Oppo to get a toehold in the premium segment in India’s smartphone market.

Oppo is making a second attempt at cracking the premium smartphone segment, or those costing over Rs30,000, with the launch of its new premium series Reno. Realme, on the other hand, will enter the space towards the latter part of the year.
