RB Sinha transfer

A highly acclaimed officer – RB Sinha, Director General of Audit (Post and Telecommunications) of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) – has been shunted out. He has now been posted at the CAG’s headquarter.

He was instrumental in pursuing the cases in the courts on CAG’s right to audit the contracts awarded under the PPP mode, and even auditing the accounts of the private telecom companies providing services on revenue sharing basis. He earnestly protected the revenue interests of the government.
