Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip may come a little early this year

The sixth annual Snapdragon Tech Summit by Qualcomm has been scheduled for October 24th to 26th, a month earlier than usual. Qualcomm is expected to announce the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

According to previous rumours, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected to have a new “1+5+2” architecture, the one that ARM revealed last month, different from the “1+2+2+3” setup of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This new architecture is expected to result in a more powerful performance core with a higher frequency using the TSMC 4nm process node.
