Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 to debut in Xiaomi, Motorola phones first

Qualcomm’s next generation flagship chipset, Snapdragon 898, is expected to make a debut by December 2021. Ahead of the official launch of the Snapdragon 888 successor, which typically happens in November-December every year, benchmark scores of the upcoming processor have leaked. And now, a new report talks about the companies that are expected to launch Snapdragon 898-powered smartphones in the market first.

According to a report by noted tipster Digital Chat Station, both Xiaomi and Motorola are gearing to launch smartphones powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 system-on-chip in the market before anyone. Both Xiaomi and Motorola are expected to launch Snapdragon 898 powered smartphones by the end of 2021. The report also says that it is possible that while Motorola and Xiaomi launch the Snapdragon 898 SoC in the market first, these smartphones are expected to become available for purchase a few weeks later.
