Qualcomm launches Snapdragon Conquest mobile Esports tournament with Rs 50 lakh prize money

NEW DELHI: American chip giant Qualcomm Thursday launched its first mobile Esports program “Snapdragon Conquest” in India and named Garena ‘Free Fire’ as the official game title for this season.

The tournament will kick off with a prize pool of Rs 50 lakh and there is no entry/registration fee charged for participating in the tournament

“India is one of the fastest-growing smartphone industries in the world, with increased internet penetration driven primarily through mobile phones. The smartphone, as much as the internet, is turning to be a key driver for online gaming,” Qualcomm said in an official statement.
