Qualcomm launches octa-core Snapdragon 678 SoC

NEW DELHI: US-based chipmaker Qualcomm has launched its new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 mobile platform, in follow-up to the launch of the Snapdragon 675 chipset.

The Snapdragon 678 chipset comes with Kryo 460 CPU core clock speed up to 2.2GHz, Adreno 612 GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon 685 DSP. It further claims upgrades in performance, photography, videography, and comes with QuickCharge 4+ technology.
