Punjab Police partners with leading organizations to introduce AI to reduce road fatalities

Punjab Police’s traffic wing is set to embark on a groundbreaking journey to enhance road safety and traffic management in the state by harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In a significant move, the Punjab Police’s traffic wing has signed a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with four renowned organizations — Map My India, SAFE Society, Intozi Tech Private Limited (based in Gurugram), and Muskaan Foundation (based in Jaipur).

The significant development precedes the launch of the ambitious Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF) —a specialized police team dedicated to road safety and tackling criminals.
