Punit Goenka steps down from Zee Media board

MUMBAI: Punit Goenka has stepped down as non-executive, non-independent director of Zee Media Corporation NSE 4.42 %, the company which houses ZEE branded news channels.

Goenka, who is also the managing director and chief executive of Zee Entertainment NSE 5.35 % Enterprises (ZEE), will continue to run the entertainment company.
