Pune: Website for FYJC CET unavailable due to ‘technical glitches’, no clarity on when registrations will begin

For the fourth consecutive day on Friday, the website to register for the optional common entrance test (CET) for first-year junior college (FYJC) has remained unavailable, with no explanation from the state Education department about why, angering several Class 11 aspirants.

The website, http://cet.mh-ssc.ac.in/, which was supposed to go live at 11.30 am on Tuesday, has remained unavailable for four days now. What’s worse is that no explanation is forthcoming from the state Education department and neither is there any timeline of when registrations will begin.

“Technical glitches” is the explanation given on the website where registrations were supposed to start, with a note that the website is temporarily shut.
