Police job aspirant uses bluetooth to copy in exam in Mumbai, held
MUMBAI: Three months after a police recruitment test for constables was held in the city, a 19-year old girl from Aurangabad district has been arrested for allegedly using electronics devices to copy. The arrested accused, Manisha Sable, cheated during the test by using bluetooth and electronics devices like SIM cards,spy earpieces and transmitters to get answers dictated from outside, the police said.
Three more candidates who had appeared for the same test are wanted for cheating, said officials of Azad Maidan police station.
Mumbai Police had conducted their recruitment drive for 8,070 posts – 7,076 of constables and 994 of drivers. Over 78,500 candidates had appeared for the written exam at 213 centres in the city on May 7.
