Police finds 656 SIMs linked to one Aadhaar: How to find which mobile numbers are linked to your Aadhaar card

Scams where a single Aadhaar card is linked to several SIM cards continues. In one case, the cybercrime wing discovered that one person had 100-150 mobile connections using a single Aadhaar number and wrote to the respective mobile service providers to cancel them. The cybercrime wing of Tamil Nadu in the past four months has blocked as many as 25,135 SIM cards across Tamil Nadu on suspicion of fraudulent activities. In another case in Vijayawada, as many as 658 SIM cards were issued with a single photo identity. All the SIM cards were registered in the name of Polukonda Naveen, who distributes SIMs to mobile shops and other kiosks where one can buy SIM cards.
