Police bust fake call centre selling flight tickets, 12 arrested

MUMBAI: The city crime branch busted a fake call centre and arrested 12 persons. The accused allegedly duped many people by offering tickets of various airlines at a discounted price for trips to foreign countries.

The accused would post advertisements on social media about the discounted tickets.

Raj Tilak Roshan, DCP (crime branch) on Saturday said that they received information about a fake call centre being run from a building in Marol, Andheri (east) and raided the place. “The accused would post advertisements on social media offering tickets at a lesser price for foreign countries.
