Pokemon Go Fest to be held online this year

The Pokemon Go Fest for this year will be held online over July 25 and July 26. This global event is usually held across select cities and and gives Pokemon Go players a chance to meet at a spot like a large park that probably houses enough gyms and pokestops and play. This year, obviously, that will not be possible due to the pandemic and the event has been moved online.

The first Pokemon Go fest was held in 2017 in Chicago to mark the game’s one-year anniversary. However, over the following years, the fest was also held in other countries like Germany and Japan.
