‘Pokémon Go’: Always on the go

An occupational risk of enjoying a good outdoor walk but refusing to use my phone is that it has taken me an awfully long time to understand how ‘Pokémon Go’ works. But I can no longer delay telling you what’s been happening with this Augmented Reality game that recently turned six. The game is almost unrecognisable since I last played it in 2016. The only thing that has not changed much is the action of swiping on a Pokéball to catch Pokémon. If you, like me, decide to restart playing the game now—this article will attempt to catch you up.
