PC shipments in China slump 24% to 9 million units in Q1: Canalys
NEW DELHI: PC shipments in China slumped 24% year-over-year in Q1 2023 to only 8.9 million units as the momentum in economic recovery faltered, according to the latest report by Canalys.
“Business and consumer spending on PCs remained conservative despite a boost in market activity following the reopening of the economy,” said Canalys.
Lenovo, Huawei and HP led the PC market with a share (by volume) of 36.7%, 10.7%, and 10.2%, respectively in Q1 2023. Dell and Asus closed the chart at the fourth and fifth positions with a share of 8.5% and 7.9%, according to Canalys.
