Partnerships with system integrators key to reaching global base: GE Digital CEO Scott Reese

Partnerships with system integrators like Infosys have helped GE Digital scale up their customer base globally, CEO Scott Reese told ET in an interview. The company addresses a large part of its solutions from India centres across Bengaluru, Noida, Hyderabad and Chennai.

GE Digital is a subsidiary of the American multinational General Electric. Headquartered in San Ramon, California, the company provides software and industrial IoT (IIoT) services to industrial companies.

Reese, who was in India recently, added that over 40% of global power transmission utilities use GE Digital software, of which a large chunk is handled from India. Half of India’s electricity is transmitted and distributed via GE equipment.
