Parallel Wireless expanding India R&D centers to support 4G, 5G software development and testing
NEW DELHI: Parallel Wireless, a US-based Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) company said it is expanding its Research and Development (R&D) Centers in India to support 4G and 5G software development and testing.
Its India R&D centers located in Pune and Bangalore are expanding to develop and test cloud-native RAN Intelligent Controllers (RICs), 4G and 5G Distributed Unit (DU) and Centralized Unit (CU) software, as well as, 2×2 and 4×4 O-RAN Alliance compliant radios, the company in a statement said.
The teams at the R&D centers are also working on automation development in Open RAN networks, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
