Oyo starts operations in Japan, in tie-up with SoftBank arms

Budget hotel chain Oyo Hotels and Homes on Thursday said that it has started operations in Japan.

It has formed a joint venture, Oyo Hotels Japan GK, with SoftBank Corp and SoftBank Vision Fund for its foray into the Japanese hotel market. The new venture will be led by Oyo founding member Prasun Choudhary.
