Oyo enters US market; plans to invest Rs. 1,400 cr in India, S-E Asia

Budget hotel chain Oyo has now entered the United States and has rolled out the first pilot asset in the South of the US.

On the other hand, the company plans to invest around Rs. 1,400 crore in India and South-East Asia in 2019 as part of its expansion plans.

“The US is a complex market and we understand that all the big hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton started their business from there. We genuinely feel that if our first asset turns out to be successful, there’s a huge opportunity for us in the country,” said Ritesh Agarwal, Founder, Oyo.
