Trai’s attempt to mow down consumer friendly services received a massive protest. More than 13 lakh consumers and their organizations bombarded Trai with their responses clearly exposing Trai’s move to favour telecom service providers (TSPs).

But, Trai, under the leadership of its chairman Rahul Khullar did what it knows best – favour TSPs at the cost of consumers. For this, Trai dumped all the responses of the consumers into 21 lists of emails in its server, which are almost impossible to download from Trai’s web site, except a few. Failing to download online, we got the complete information from our sources, and have analysed some of the responses and the extract of some of them have been reproduced for our readers.
