OTP sharing with PIOs: STF arrests IT firm staff from Pune

The Special Task Force of the Odisha Crime Branch has arrested another accused in connection with the OTP sharing scam with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs). With this, the total number of arrests in the case rose to six.

The new accused, identified as Abhijeet Sanjay Jambure, was arrested from Pune in Maharashtra on June 29. Abhijeet was produced before a local court in Pune and brought to Bhubaneswar on three days’ transit remand. Later, he was produced in a Bhubaneswar court on Saturday.

Earlier, a non-bailable warrant (NBW) had been issued against him by the court in Bhubaneswar. He is a resident of Satara district of Maharashtra and is a postgraduate in Statistics from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University, Anand in Gujarat.
