Orange, Sierra Wireless, LACROIX, STMicroelectronics form partnership to drive IoT deployments

NEW DELHI: French telco Orange. Canada’s Sierra Wireless, LACROIX, and chipmaker STMicroelectronics Wednesday said they have formed a partnership ‘IoT Continuum’ with the objective to simplify and accelerate deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Europe and abroad.

The partnership which comprises players from connectivity, hardware, software, and design and manufacturing industries seeks to support international businesses with IoT deployment and industrialization of Massive IoT over LTE, including Cat M and Cat 1, and 5G, according to an official statement.
