Oppo says successfully conducted 5G WhatsApp call in India

NEW DELHI: Chinese handset maker Oppo said that it successfully conducted the first 5G WhatsApp call at their R&D center in Hyderabad. Oppo’s R&D centre conducted the call while simultaneously displaying the 5G band and speed.

Oppo said that it further demonstrated the capabilities of the next-gen 5G network by demonstrating fast movie downloads and cloud gaming facilities. .
