Oppo pushes Android Pie powered ColorOS 6 update for Oppo R17 Pro
Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has released a new software update for the Oppo R17 Pro smartphone in India. The new software update offer Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 along with new features. The UI has been updated along with new wallpapers and a better Camera UI. While the update is pushed OTA in batches, those who can’t wait for it can also visit Oppo’s website to download it. The update file size weighs around 3.3GB and users are highly recommended that they keep a backup of their personal data before going ahead with the update. To check for the OTA update, users can head to the Settings menu and search of the update as well.
Meanwhile, Oppo had slashed the price of Oppo R17 Pro. The device has got a massive price cut of Rs 10,000. It was launched at Rs 39,990 is now available at Rs 29,990. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, the Oppo R17 Pro runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with company’s own layer of customisation. The dual SIM smartphone has a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a ‘waterdrop’ notch on top, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
