Oppo may soon exit European market, wiped its German website
Following a patent dispute with Nokia, Oppo (and its sub-brand OnePlus) was compelled to suspend operations in Germany last year. Since then, rumors have circulated about Oppo potentially shutting down shops in Europe, despite the company’s denial. Nonetheless, the actions taken by Oppo seem to indicate otherwise. Now the company’s official website in Germany currently has no product listings, leaving it empty.
The Chinese smartphone maker has now removed all the product listings from its official website in Germany. Presently, the website only has a single ad on the homepage. The ad is about the ongoing Oppo partnership with UEFA Champions League. Along with the ad the website also has a FAQ banner answering questions about the support for existing Oppo smartphones.
