Oppo forays into Latin American smartphone market via America Movil

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo on Thursday inked a partnership with Latin American telecoms company America Movil with an aim to expand its smartphone market footprint in Latin America.

Under the partnership, America Movile will make available Oppo’s smartphone through its subsidiaries Telcel and Claro in the Mexican and Latin American markets.

“This represents an important achievement for Oppo in its development in Latin American and global markets,” said Oppo in a joint statement.
