Online learning platform Coursera eyes tie-ups for course content

Online learning platform Coursera, which has added about 3.9 million learners in India, is looking to shore up its enterprise business by entering into specific tie-ups with companies for providing re-skilling and up-skilling courses.

According to Shravan Goli, Chief Product Officer and Head of Consumer Revenue, Coursera currently has over 1,800 enterprise customers globally and close to 50 in India.

“We launched the enterprise business in 2016 and have grown by nearly 300 per cent on a year-on-year basis. There is a significant demand from enterprises recognising the need to transform work force,” Goli told BusinessLine .
