OneWeb’s in-orbit constellation reaches 542 satellites with new deployments from SpaceX

NEW DELHI: Bharti-backed satellite communication (satcom) provider OneWeb’s in-orbit low earth orbit (LEO) constellation has reached 542 satellites, with 40 new satellite deployments by SpaceX on Tuesday.

This is OneWeb’s sixteenth launch to date, with only two more launches remaining to complete its first-generation constellation enabling global connectivity in 2023.
