OneWeb partners BT to explore rural connectivity in UK and beyond

NEW DELHI: Bharti Group-backed OneWeb Monday said it has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with British telecoms company, BT, to explore the opportunities of delivering digital communication services to remote areas of the UK.

“The groundbreaking agreement between OneWeb and BT comes as an investment in expanding modern, digital infrastructure and remains a top priority for the UK’s economic recovery and development post-COVID,” said an official joint statement.
