OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei quits; to start his own venture: Report
NEW DELHI: Carl Pei, the co-founder of Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus, has left the company, TechCrunch reported citing two sources familiar with the development.
Pei played a crucial role in establishing OnePlus’ smartphone lineup, including the recently launched Nord smartphone. Pei is credited with devising marketing strategies to establish a foothold in the smartphone market for OnePlus’ offerings. During its initial years, the company majorly sold its phones through invites and other non-conventional means.
