OnePlus almost confirms OnePlus 8 Pro will come with wireless charging

NEW DELHI: Earlier this month it was tipped that the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro will come with wireless charging. Now, the rumour has been somewhat confirmed by the company itself.
As reported by MobileScout, OnePlus recently became an official member of the Wireless Power Consortium. For those unaware, WPC controls the Qi wireless charging standard for smartphones, wearables and other products.
The other members of WPC include Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Google, LG, and Sony. Now OnePlus has also become a party to this list. This means that the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro might come with wireless charging support.
The smartphone is expected to launch in March and is said to come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display and a quadruple-camera on the back panel. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G support.
