OnePlus 9 Lite launch tipped, expected to be launched with OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro

It appears that OnePlus has more phones in store under its upcoming OnePlus 9 series other than the ‘usual suspects’, as would otherwise be expected.
According to a report by Android Central, the company plans to launch OnePlus 9 Lite as well along with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
However, unlike the other two, which are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, the OnePlus 9 Lite is said to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is the same processor that powers its OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones launched last year.
The report also tips that the price of the OnePlus 9 Lite will be around $600 (approximately Rs 45,000).
In terms of specs, the OnePlus 9 Lite is expected to share a lot of specs with the OnePlus 8T, which includes 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate and 65W fast charge support. For imaging duties, the report claims that it is “likely“ to share specs with the OnePlus 8T only as camera upgrades are expected to be offered in the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro handsets.
