OnePlus 7 Pro display to support HDR 10+: Here’s what it means

OnePlus is making some bold changes with OnePlus 7 Pro. Among all other important upgrades, OnePlus has particularly highlighted the new display. Just recently it bagged A+ rating from DisplayMate. Now, OnePlus has revealed OnePlus 7 Pro will come with HDR+ certification.

HDR+ certification essentially makes the screen compatible with high resolution content from streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix. These two streaming service providers have already confirmed partnership with OnePlus. This means you’ll get next-generation high definition content out-of-the-box. Also, HDR 10+ technology is also quite rare on phones and mostly seen on premium smart TVs.
