OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T start receiving stable Android 10 update

NEW DELHI: A four-year-old Android smartphone receiving the latest version of Android update is not something Android is known for. However, OnePlus seems to change that by rolling out the Android 10 update along with Oxygen OS 10 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones finally after keeping it in beta testing phase from quiet sometime. The company is currently rolling out the update in staggered form so it might take a little time to show up on your smartphone, according to a report by Android Authority.
According to the report, a user has posted the screenshot along with the Oxygen OS 10 based on Android changelog on OnePlus official forum, which suggests that the update will be rolled out as an OTA and will weigh around 1.8GB.
The Android 10 update for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T brings a brand new user-interface with slew of new customisation options for icons in Quick Settings menu. Also, the update will also add the Android 10 gesture navigation along with a new bottom navigation bar to switch between apps.
