OnePlus 12R vs OnePlus 11R — what’s different?

Last year’s OnePlus 11R was such stupendous value in that, fashioning the OnePlus 12R was always going to be challenging. OnePlus could have easily copy-pasted the same phone and re-launch it, and it would have found takers but alas, it didn’t. In fact, somehow, it managed to fashion an even better deal.

The 12R gets a fancy new display, that borrows heavily from the more premium (and pricier) OnePlus 12, last year’s flagship Qualcomm processor, and a bigger battery meticulously put together inside a glass and metal chassis with stronger screen protection and official IP rating. The real kicker though is that despite all the upgrades, the OnePlus 12R costs the same as the OnePlus 11R.
