Ola launches Krutrim, its answer to OpenAI, Google’s AI models

Bhavish Aggarwal, the co-founder and CEO of Ola, has announced his latest project, Krutrim, touted as “India’s first full-stack AI” solution that has been built for Indians and India.
Krutrim means “artificial” in Sanskrit. According to the company, Krutrim is “an AI model of our own, built on local Indian knowledge, languages, and data.” The model will come in two sizes – a base model and a larger, more advanced one called Krutrim Pro, which is set to launch early next year.
