NXP Semiconductors, TSMC partner to deliver automotive 16nm embedded MRAM

NEW DELHI: NXP Semiconductors on Tuesday partnered with the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) to deliver embedded magnetic random access memory (MRAM) based on the 16nm FinFET technology in software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

The companies claimed that test vehicle samples are currently being evaluated, while initial product samples are scheduled for lead customer availability in early 2025.
