Not planning to cut 75% of jobs, Elon Musk tells Twitter employees

Elon Musk is not planning to cut 75% of the staff when he takes over Twitter, the tech billionaire and the soon-to-be boss told employees of the microblogging platform on Wednesday, Bloomberg reported.

Musk, whose $44-billion deal for Twitter looks on track to close by Friday, denied the previously reported number in an address to employees at the company’s San Francisco office, the report added.
