Nokia says to launch C-Band products portfolio in Q2 2021; eyeing US market
NEW DELHI: Finnish telecoms gear maker Nokia on Tuesday said it will launch its C-band products portfolio in Q1 2021, following the conclusion of the recent spectrum auction in the U.S. Nokia’s comprehensive C-Band portfolio.
The portfolio comprises both indoor and outdoor deployment products, including massive MIMO antenna solutions, hybrid antennas that combine both passive and active radio platforms into a single, modular unit, macro remote radio heads, and small cell solutions.
The C-Band portfolio also supports both 5G non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) networks, traditional to full cloud implementations, including support for Open RAN solutions, said Nokia and added that the solution leverages latest AirScale radio access solutions for C-Band.
