Nokia, Rohde & Schwarz to explore feasibility of drone-based network measurement solution

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia on Wednesday said it has signed a pact with Rohde & Schwarz to jointly explore the feasibility of a drone-based network measurement solution.

The companies aim to deliver the first prototype with an embedded 4.9G/LTE and 5G network measurement software within an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), as per a statement from Nokia.
