Nokia launches new WaveFabric Elements optical portfolio for 400G ecosystem
NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Thursday launched its WaveFabric photonic chips family along with the fifth-gen digital signal processor (DSP) family, the Photon Service Engine V (PSE-V).
The WaveFabric portfolio combines the strengths of the digital signal processor (DSP) and optics technologies allowing Nokia to optimise the complete electro-optic engine that drives today’s networks, said Nokia in a release,
“This high degree of vertical integration ensures that Nokia’s optical solutions will meet the unique economic and technical requirements of the data center, metro, long haul, and subsea networks,” further said Nokia.
